The initiative, conceived and organized by the Umbria & Tastes consortium - the consortium for the promotion of food and wine tourism in the green heart of Italy - in collaboration with ArcheoFood - Cultural Association that rediscovers the sense of taste for history by combining archeology and cuisine - wants to enhance connection between food and sacredness in the Etruscan civilization through a re-evocative route where the guest will be immersed in the daily life of time, including haruspexes, potters, armed men, dances and banquets.

The event consists of several moments and wisely integrates, in a tasty and current even for the little ones, the beauties of the village overlooking the shores of Lake Trasimeno with the museum offer of the territory and a unique and original food and wine experience.

Starting from the Palazzo Della Corgna museum itinerary, on the afternoon of Saturday 30 June, walking along the walls and with the entrance ticket, the event is totally free for its guests, there will be three performances of historical re-enactment at 16:00, 17:00 and 18:00 by the Association Suodales - AnticaeViae that will reconstruct scenes of life in the Etruscan territory of the late sixth century BC with particular attention to the art of the ancient haruspexes, the soothsayers specialized in reading the bowels of the sacrificial victims.

At 19:00, with reservations required at info@umbriatastes.eu, a reserved entrance in the evocative setting of the Fortress to admire at sunset the haruspexes, the potters and the armed between dances and banquets, savoring ancient foods based on entrails and not only, discovering the sacredness of food in Etruscan culture, with the collaboration of AuroraGroup. A menu with ancient flavors, but all current, with simple and tasty dishes based on local products, will allow visitors to travel back in time through the flavors and the table of ages so far away.

Sunday, July 1 at 17.00, keeping the entrance ticket to the Museum Route on 30 June or with the reserved voucher issued by Umbria & Tastes, visitors will also be entitled to reduced admission to the exhibition "Tarsminas, the Etruscan lake" on stage at the Torre dei Lambardi in Magione with an exclusive guided tour and an unexpected tasting.
