DAY 1: PERUGIA

Departure for Perugia, visit of the city and lunch in a characteristic place where you can taste some of the most famous Umbrian dishes. The city of Perugia is home to cultural heritage of great historical, artistic and architectural value, property of Foundations and private subjects that ensure its conservation, public use and protection. These places of culture preserve precious collections of works of art, testimonies of artistic crafts, rich libraries, ancient archives, collections of plaster casts, paintings, prints, drawings that tell the story of the city from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age. You can admire some of these works during the visit to the Mastri Vetrai at the Moretti Caselli Studio. The Studio is located in a place of high architectural and artistic value; the artifacts contained in it are characterized by a high historical and cultural importance. .In the various rooms you can see the archive-library, the colors and the photographic material, sketches, paintings, plaster casts, stained glass windows, musical instruments, weapons, family memories, stained glass, furnaces and tools designed and made by hand Francesco Moretti.
At the end, departure to Assisi, accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

2nd DAY: LAKE TRASIMENO AND CASTIGLIONE DEL LAGO
 

 After breakfast, departure for the Lake Trasimeno. We suggest the islands ferry tour leaving the car in San Feliciano to take one of the early morning ferries to Polvese Island. After visiting Isola Polvese (which takes about 2-4 hours), take the ferry back to San Feliciano and head to Castiglione del Lago. Situated on a promontory overlooking Lake Trasimeno, Castiglione del Lago is one of the most beautiful villages in the Lake Trasimeno. At the end of the visit of the town, its monuments and enjoy unforgettable landscapes, June 30 you can participate in the event: Sapori Ritrovati: The taste of Ancient Umbria. Presentation and tasting of historical food (from Antiquity to the seventeenth century) and at the same time explanation by gastronomical experts. 3rd DAY: ASSISI - SPELLO

After breakfast, visit the city of Assisi on foot or in the Segway and its Roman Domus. Lunch in a typical restaurant. At the end departure for the visit of Spello: "Splendidissima Colonia Julia" in Roman times and today one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. At the end, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

4th DAY: TORGIANO - MONTEFALCO

After breakfast, departure for Torgiano. This village preserves a typical medieval appearance and remains of ancient walls. Of particular interest is the Wine Museum, a very valuable collection of historiographic documents concerning various sectors: the technique of viticulture and winemaking, an artistic, folk and bibliographic documentation on the same topic. It also houses a very valuable collection of 17th and 18th century majolica. The wine museum is the most qualified in Italy, with collections of technical instruments, prints of various eras, specialized crafts, folklore documents. We suggest you (by reservation) a stop at one of the most renowned Umbrian wine cellars where you will have a fun safari in the vineyards and a succulent lunch with tasting of 3 wines (price about 25 € per person). At the end, continue to Montefalco. Visit of the city called the "terrace of Umbria" and departure for return.
